What to bring on your Medicine Placement?



General
  • Small rucksack along with your main rucksack
  • Light clothes
  • Swimming gear
  • Towel (travel towel or hand towel is adequate)
  • Sunglasses
  • Sun protection cream
  • Basic toiletry kit
  • Lip balm
  • Novels to read
  • A small address book with your friends and family's telephone numbers and e-mail addresses
  • Travellers cheques, credit card (preferably VISA in South America)
  • Money belt
  • Photocopy of passport and important items
  • Torch
  • Plug adaptor if you are taking electric equipment
  • Universal sink plug
  • Medical kit
  • Sanitary towels
  • Baby Wipes
  • Concentrated hand/face wash
  • Cell phone (which can accept third party SIM cards). WE will help you to buy a local SIM on arrival at your project and this is the easiest and cheapest way of staying in touch with other volunteers in Argentina
